Smarter scheduling with Agentforce

The headline feature of the Spring '26 Release is Agentforce's native integration into the Field Service scheduling engine. AI agents can now optimise technician assignment by weighing not just availability and location, but the specific skills a job calls for, the customer's history and live traffic conditions. Salesforce's pilot testing puts the reduction in response times at up to 35%.

A stronger mobile app

The Field Service mobile app gets a substantial update: better offline support, a redesigned digital signature capture and a new interface for managing inventory in the field. Technicians can now pull up step-by-step augmented reality guides for complex equipment, which cuts the time to resolve a job on the first visit.

How to prepare for the update

If your organisation runs Field Service, we'd recommend reviewing the full release notes and scheduling training sessions for your field teams. The new features roll out gradually and some require manual activation in Setup. Test the changes in a sandbox before applying them in production.
