At Colibrí IT we are a boutique consultancy specializing in Salesforce, Field Service, Agentforce and Artificial Intelligence. We work on digital transformation projects for organizations across Colombia, Chile and Panama, and our team holds more than 70 active certifications.

We are looking for a QA Consultant to join our team. This position carries the duties of an Associate Consultant, contributing to projects that implement and evolve enterprise solutions on Salesforce.

What you will do as an Associate Consultant

You will configure, build, document and validate digital solutions of basic to intermediate complexity. You will analyze user stories and requirements, flag gaps, dependencies and risks early, test your own deliverables, and document the configurations and decisions behind them.

You will also propose improvements that raise the quality, efficiency and maintainability of our solutions, share knowledge and good practice with the team, and keep your technical knowledge and certifications current.

Your role as a QA Consultant

On the projects where you are assigned as a QA Consultant, you will help make sure the solutions we build work as they were designed and meet the requirements and acceptance criteria agreed for them.

You will analyze user stories and requirements to identify test scenarios, boundary conditions, dependencies and potential risks. You will design and run functional test cases, document the evidence, and log the defects you find with enough detail to make them straightforward to analyze and fix.

You will follow defects through their whole cycle, from the moment they are found to the moment they are validated, running the tests and regression testing needed to confirm that the fixes work and that the changes have not affected other parts of the solution.

And we want to take quality a step further: Artificial Intelligence is part of how we work. You will be able to use AI to sharpen requirements analysis, explore scenarios and edge cases, support the generation of test cases and test data, analyze defects, and speed up documentation and validation work.

The goal is not simply to find bugs. We want you to build the judgment to understand how a solution should behave, anticipate how it might fail, and provide the evidence the team needs to ship software with greater quality and confidence.

Requirements

What we look for in this position

We are looking for graduates in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related fields, with 2 years of professional experience. We also consider students in their final year who hold professional certifications relevant to the role or have experience in similar positions.

To work on our projects and keep developing your career with us, you will need English at B1 level or above.

What we expect you to know

We expect solid grounding in requirements and user story analysis, designing and running test cases, functional and regression testing, documenting evidence, logging and tracking defects, and agile methodologies.

We value knowledge or training in software testing, experience working with enterprise platforms, and familiarity with tools for managing user stories, test cases and defects. Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst set a candidate apart.

We want you to bring the fundamentals and the experience to take on the responsibilities of the role independently, along with the appetite to keep learning.
