At Colibrí IT we are a boutique consultancy specializing in Salesforce, Field Service, Agentforce and Artificial Intelligence. We work on digital transformation projects for organizations across Colombia, Chile and Panama, and our team holds more than 70 active certifications.

We are looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join our team. This position carries the duties of an Associate Consultant, contributing to the operation, maintenance and evolution of enterprise solutions on Salesforce.

What you will do as an Associate Consultant

You will configure, build, document and validate digital solutions of basic to intermediate complexity. You will analyze user stories and requirements, flag gaps, dependencies and risks early, test your own deliverables, and document the configurations and decisions behind them.

You will also propose improvements that raise the quality, efficiency and maintainability of our solutions, share knowledge and good practice with the team, and keep your technical knowledge and certifications current.

Your role as a Salesforce Administrator

On the projects or services where you are assigned as a Salesforce Administrator, you will help keep the platform running, secure, orderly and ready to meet what its users need.

You will administer users, permissions and access; support data management and data quality; maintain existing configurations; and handle minor changes to things like fields, layouts, record types, validation rules, reports, dashboards and automations.

You will also work through requests and incidents to understand their cause, judge whether configuration can resolve them, and apply the corresponding changes in a controlled way. You will test changes before release, document what you modified, and help keep the platform traceable and stable.

You will work closely with the other roles on the team to spot when a need goes beyond routine administration and calls for functional analysis, development or a wider technical decision.

And we want to take administration a step further: Artificial Intelligence is part of how we work. You will be able to use AI to speed up the analysis and resolution of incidents, investigate configurations and dependencies, support the building and review of automations, document changes, and find ways to make running the platform more efficient.

The goal is not simply to administer users or field requests. We want you to build the judgment to understand how an enterprise platform behaves in operation, and to help keep it secure, reliable, orderly and steadily more efficient.

Requirements

What we look for in this position

We are looking for graduates in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related fields, with 2 years of professional experience. We also consider students in their final year who hold professional certifications relevant to the role or have experience in similar positions.

To work on our projects and keep developing your career with us, you will need English at B1 level or above.

The profile we are looking for

We look for people with a standing attitude of learning, curiosity and improvement; who enjoy understanding problems, digging into them and finding better ways to solve them. People with strong communication and teamwork, solid technical and analytical ability, critical thinking, honesty and a sense of responsibility.

We want professionals who ask what needs solving, what for and why, before deciding how; who learn quickly, enjoy innovating, and see Artificial Intelligence as an everyday tool for sharpening their productivity, their capabilities and their professional growth.

What we expect you to know

We expect solid grounding in user and access administration, security and permissions, data modeling, data quality and management, declarative configuration, reports and dashboards, process automation and incident resolution.

We value experience administering enterprise platforms, and particularly knowledge of the Salesforce Platform, including tools such as Setup, Object Manager, Permission Sets, Data Loader and Flow. Certifications such as Salesforce Platform Administrator or Platform App Builder set a candidate apart.

We want you to bring the fundamentals and the experience to take on the responsibilities of the role independently, along with the appetite to keep learning. At Colibrí IT you will be able to deepen your knowledge and specialize in Salesforce administration, security and access management, data, automation, and platform administration supported by Artificial Intelligence, with support for training, development and certifications.

  • Permanent, full-time contract
  • Hybrid working: one day a week in the office, in Bogotá or Medellín

  • A defined career path
  • Support for training, development and certifications
